The project generally includes the demolition of an existing wood playground and the construction of a new playground featuring new playground structures and surfacing.
Site S-C-2 proposed work includes but is not limited to the following main bid items; Excavation 6790 CY; Earthfill, 7000 CY; 18” PVC, 148 LF; Concrete Riser; Rip Rap, 960 TN; Seeding, Fencing.
The major items of work include: improvements to enhance the functionality, safety, and appearance of the existing building. The scope of work includes utility upgrades to modernize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, ensuring reliable service and code compliance. Façade restoration work will preserve and enhance the building’s historic character, including masonry repair, window refurbishment, and exterior finishes. Additionally, the roofing scope includes TPO roofing patchwork to address areas o f deterioration and improve water - tightness. All work is coordinated to maintain building operations where possible and to meet applicable regulatory and funding requirements.
The major items of WORK include: The PROJECT will replace existing cast iron watermains. The approximate quantities and major components include: approximately 27,500 lf of 2, 4, 6 and 8-inch C900 PVC waterlines utilizing a combination of HDD and open trench methods; 365 lf of 10 and 12-inch cased bore; 9,230 lf of 1” and 2” HDPE service lines; 223 service connections, new meter pits, 220 new AMR meters (5/8” & 2”) to interface with the existing radio read and billing system; 82 gate valves; 41 fire hydrants, 1 bulk water station; all fittings, connections, abandonments, surface restorations, seeding, erosion and traffic control, coordination with local utility companies and all other items for a complete and operating as intended system.
The Munchkinland Playground project involves the demolition of existing play structure and replacing the existing play structures and surface covering.
