The major items of work include: improvements to enhance the functionality, safety, and appearance of the existing building. The scope of work includes site and utility upgrades to modernize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, ensuring reliable service and code compliance. Site work includes installation of underground stormwater conveyance system to reduce water detention on the surface. Façade restoration work will preserve and enhance the building’s historic character, including masonry repair, window refurbishment, and exterior finishes. Additionally, the roofing scope includes TPO roofing patchwork to address areas of deterioration and improve water-tightness. All work is coordinated to maintain building operations where possible and to meet applicable regulatory and funding requirements.
